MNF - Miami versus San Diego

Last the night's MNF game did seem to have nice picture quality; however, it was not displaying 16:9. Did anyone else experience this problem :?:

ABC did not broadcast last nights game in HD. This is from David Bott over at AVSforum:

ABC Monday Night Football Statement for 10/27's game....

"Due to the wildfire situation in Southern California, ABC’s Monday Night Football game has moved to Sun Devil Stadium in Arizona. Logistics are preventing the typical ABC production facilities from being used, so the game will not be produced in HDTV this evening. The game will be upconverted from ABC’s headquarters in New York, ensuring a universal DTV look for the entire country."

Thanks for the info regarding last night's game. I was curious why the game was moved to Sun Devil stadium, but it makes much more sense now. :idea:

Fatologist, please don't take this as an attack on your knowledge or eyesight, but if it wasn't obvious to you that the game SD then you might want to check the calibration of your TV. I don't have a top-of-the line TV, but I can certainly see a glaring difference between HD and SD. (The SD still looks loads better than cable. ) Nothing looks better than live football in HD.

Please PM me if you want some suggestions on calibration of rear projection TVs.
