I have a Pace 550 box connected to my HDTV, using a DVI to HDMI cable. About half the time when I change channels, the video signal will drop. I can still hear the audio, since it's over another cable. If I turn the TV and box off, everything will be good until for awhile. Going from SD to HD channels doesn't seem to change the occurance rate, i.e., it will happen when changing from one SD channel to another, and from one HD channel to another, and from SD channel to a HD channel. I don't have this problem if I connect over component.

Anyone have any ideas? This is really cramping my TV surfing. Thanks!

I have the same problem when surfing digital channels. If you don't wait until the picture comes in before surfing on to the next channel you will get no picture at all and have to turn your television off and on. The price of digital viewing, I guess.
