According to the RR forum at DSL Reports, RoadRunner is bumping download speeds from 7 to 10 megs all across the country. Any word on when Tampa will be upgraded?

Duh! I'm not talking about paying extra for an increase from the standard speed. I'm talking about the standard speed being bumped from 7 to 10 megs.

Well then I guess you should have been more specific in your original post then shouldn't you have. No need to be a rude .

Sheesh Boomer. If you want to think this is rude so be it. Looking at my post and your first repsonse, if I wasn't already knowledgable about the tiered service you posted about, I would have called Brighthouse and asked why I wasnt getting 15 megs like Boomer said he was. Maybe you should have been more specific too.

I had cause to speak to a BHN customer service rep when ordering MLBEI and was told that I would get 10 megs free for a year and after that the increase on my bill would be "negligible" - IOW, $5.00 per month.
I'll take the year and by that time FiOS should be in my neck of the woods in St. Pete and I can compare speeds/pricing, not to mention all the other Verizon services.
