I was sitting in my bedroom last night and wished there was a way to watch watch was on my HD-TIVO on the unit in my bedroom....

My wife who loves UniversalHD records several shows on the HD-TIVO in the bedroom and wanted to watch them in the livingroom....

Ya know if it is half as good as I hope it is, I will be an early adopter of the Ucentric media box from NDS.

The idea of having a server slaved with 2 HD recievers and OTA recording is very interesting.

I put my HDTivo in the closet and used a matrix switch so that I could use it with both tvs. The pain is to run the coax cables to the two tv's.
Plus no DVI or HDMI since the matrix switch for them cost too much.

It would be nice if you could do what with two HD-Tivo's. Hopefully Tivo will release a standalone HDTivo and add that feature. The standalone SD ones do this. Maybe we will find out at CES next month.

There's another forum that explains how to hack your HD-Tivos to allow you to transfer shows from one box to the other. I do it all the time.....do a google search on HR10-250 and MFS_FTP.... :D

I hacked mine as well but unfortunatly thier is not enough through put to stream. I do like the Tivo Web and the extra 250gb of space.

There are a few forum that will help you with this. I like this one.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hdtivo/

When I first hacked mine I was also concerned about voiding my warranty so I purchased an additional Hard drive so that if had any issues I could just put the original back in.
