I just got an HDTV for Christmas and want to setup an antenna to receive HDTV.

I saw a similar post (http://www.tampahdtv.com/tpahd-vb/showthread.php?t=549&highlight=westchase) but it was dated, and not quit what I was looking for.

As for channels I am really interested in receiving, FOX, CBS, ABC, and NBC. I am not to concerned about the other local channels

Here is my info:
-I live in Westchase zip 33626
-2 story house
-20ft+ trees in backyard

I bought a terk tv5 indoor antenna. I do get CBS WTSP-DT pretty good and while I did not really test it for long it seems like ABC WFTS-DT good too. However I do not get NBC at all and FOX is blocky (sorry a newbie I do not know the correct term, but the picure get pixlated and hangs) and can easily mess up when people move around.

Thanks in advance,
-TPA

Even through the similiar post are dated they still apply.

Your best option is to install two or three yagi antennas and use a jointenna to combine them. 1 needs to be a VHF for NBC and FOX. The other needs to be a UHF for all other stations. I stated three because some people including myself use 1 UHF to point to WTSP and the other UHF pointing to Riverview along with a VHF antenna.
