Discovery Bandwidth seems ok via Cable

Remember a month or so back with people complaining about reduced picture quality on the PBS channel on cable?

Well, I've recently watched 2 shows (different nights) on DiscHD and had absolutely NO problems or video artifacts.

So no telling if they are using full bandwidth again for this or I've just been lucky, but no reason to NOT think that the quality is OK from BHN.

Is anyone still thinking that something is wrong with the PBS picture?

I don't ever remember having bandwidth problems with Discovery, but I can still see compression on PBS This includes BHN and OTA.

Yeah...me too, ota and on bhn it looks the same....it was great untill they split the bandwidth among three channels...I hope this doesn't become a trend but it probly will.....the networks don't care about image quality and unfortunately for us, neither does the average tv watcher :evil:
