View Full Version : 38.1 and 38.2 OTA reception question

Hello all,

I just added an OTA antenna to my Pioneer 5070HD. Everything seems to be working fine with the exception of 38.1 and 38.2. I've read about the low signal strength of these stations, but that doesn't seem to be the problem in my case since I'm getting a signal between 60 and 70. I have no sound or picture but I do however get the channel info box with the station name and what is currently supposed to be on. It's been driving me nuts trying to figure it out.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For a couple of days.

I have also tried rescanning the channels on the TV without any success.

I have four boxes and I can get the channel on three of them at this time. The one that I can't get it on I really don't trust anymore. Are you checking the signal on channel 57 when you getting between 60-70? Have you tried mannually putting in channel 57?

The only channels I'm able to check are 38.1 and 38.2 since they come up during the autoscan. As far as I know I can't manualy set any of the digital channels on this TV.

I will check around, (maybe even read the manual :D) to see if it's possible
