Issues with NBC

I apologize if this has been asked before...

Does anybody know what is up with NBC HDTV on BHN? The picture is terrible on sporting events or action type programing compared to the other networks. Also the audio drops out frequently and you have to change the channel and go back to get the audio back. I never have any of the problems on the other HD channels.

Someone told me they think it has to do with their digital weather channel but CBS also has a digital weather channel and I get no problems with CBS.

I would appreciate if any one can enlighten me on what causes this annoying problem.

BTW I live in Pasco county and have a Samsung DLP 720p/1080i if it matters.

It does have to do with their second 'weather' channel when it comes to the sporting events or action type programming. CBS still has that but the equipment they are using is different from NBC so it's not as noticable. I don't think we will have have the type of quality picture we were used to in the past.

The audio drop outs may be the box itself. There is a thread that I started to talk about the audio drops outs and what WFLA did to resolve it. They haven't had that issue in a while that I can tell.

Thanks for the info. That sucks that NBC does not change their equipment.

I get audio drops like every 15 minutes every time I watch NBC. I only watch Sunday Night Football and Heroes on NBC so it is not too unbearable.
