I also thought PQ was pretty sweet! I noticed I do prefer watching games being played on natural grass vs. artifical turf. The game left something to be desired(terrible matchup), but I guess nobody predicted that the Warner vs Vick matchup would not take place.

The only thing left is the SkyCam and the one in the blimp/plane. When they switch to the SkyCam it is really annoying (the lower PQ).

When MNF was here last week, I went down to RayJay and talked to one of the memeber of the production team. He told me that they all hate skycam as much as us. He said that thing was crapy even by SD standards.

Is is wired, or does it transmit wirelessly.

Wireless and Battery powered. He said they usually have to bring it down at least once during the game to work on it. I didn't ask if it needed to have its battery changed. He worked in the editing truck so I am not sure how much experience he has with the actual hardware.

Is it the same technology that Fox uses? When they do a 480p Widescreen game, the picture quality is pretty decent until they go to the "overhead cam" which looks terrible. It seems to me they could improve that aspect of the broadcasts.
