Zoom & Stretch gone with DVI

Hi,
Got rid of the component cables and put in the DVI today. Now zoom and stretch don't work. When I hit the button Zoom and Stretch come up on the screen but nothing happens.

Mine work with the cable remote, but no longer with my television wide command. It is a trade off because the tv's wide mode stretches exactly but the cable's stretch mode goes beyond the screen.

It's now working! There is a DVI option in the menu now that was not there before. Does the box sense a DVI cable and download new software?
