What's with all the EBS Tests Lately?

I've noticed a lot of really annoying EBS tests on BHN lately - what's up with that? The last time I noticed this many alerts was back in the 60's when we expected a Cuban missle to hit MacDill AFB at anytime. Right smack in a critical part of last night's Studio 60 here we go again, like 3 or 4 alerts in a row with that damn buzzer wiping out both audio and CC text. Geez BHN, enough is enough, I notice they never do that doing a commercial :-x

BHN doesn't control when the authorities pull the trigger on an EBS alert...that's part of the test, their ability to do it when they want. We have no control.
