No sound on NBC ( Law & Order)

I am watching NBC(8.1) OTA and I have no sound. The very begining of Law & Order had sound bug then it cut off. Is anyone else having the problem?
I have sound on the rest of my OTA channels.

Now this is really odd. There was sound for one of the many commercials. But still no sound on the show.

Same thing here. The sound cut back in during the car ad and once the show came back on no sound again.

Edit...my receiver shows a DD2.0 signal flag coming through but with no audio so they are sending the flag but somehow not sending the actual audio.

This is a good example of when we need to have a contact at the station to call. I've talked with Bryan (bschneider) about this - he knows most of the control room / engineer people.

But when its not a show that I or he watches, then we need the ability to call a posted # to ensure that its not a local oversight. Finding out tomorrow that it was a simple problem which could have been fixed doesn't cut it.

Of course, on the other hand, you wouldn't figure a station wants to get tons of calls when there is a screwup... but thats what happens anyway even if we are not organized... everyone starts calling the statement and bugging the newsroom or intern who happens to answer the phone. Last year, this method worked to resolve many problems with them throwing the perverbial "switch".

What is a good solution to handle this?

I taped the HD broadcast of Law and Order as the wife really likes this show. Thanks for the heads up. I also taped it in SD just in case there was a problem so maybe the sound there is OK.

I haven't had a problem with L&O since that time. NBC seems to having problems, but it hard to tell if they are local. Feel free to email the engineer over at the station if you have problems. Most of the time they are very responsive.

I e-mailed the Chief Engineer about their time clock needing to be reset.

No response and the clock is still incorrect.
