I was down at BB today and noticed they had the new H20 HD STB. So I bought one for $199. I got it home and hooked it up then called D* to have it activated.
Seems like a good box. Receives all the OTA channels my HDTivo does.
The MPEG4 HD Locals show up in the guide but are blank when I change to that channel. They don't show unavalible or not subscribed so I feel like if I had the new Dish I might be able to watch them if they were even turned on.
I guess I will find out after I get a new dish.
I have my antenna and my dish installed on the roof of my condo. Unfortunatly I was only able to have 4 cables run from the roof. Currently I am using a diplexer for my Antenna. Currently I have 2 leads going to each Tivo. For now I connected the 2nd lead from the 2nd Tivo into my H20. But I would like to be able to use both the 2nd tuner in the tivo and the H20 at the same time.
I am also concerned because I understand that the new dish doesn't support diplexers. What are my options considering I can't run any more wires to the roof? Is there some kind of multiplexer I can buy that will take 3 leads in and give me 5 leads out?
