3 weeks for another DVR

So my wife and I wanted to add a second DVR. Today I called Verizon and waited 40 minutes to talk to someone. Then it took 5 minutes for them to look up my account becuase I still have a copper line. That is another story.

After all of this, they will only add another DVR if you make an appointment. The only time I am available is a Saturday, and so the next available Saturday is the 23rd! I have to wait 18 days for someone to drop off a DVR. I am not going to have the come inside and hook it up, they are going to just hand it over at the door.

If Verizon doesn't get their act together they are going to loose alot of customers.

So I decided not to get the second DVR, and when I called to cancel the order they told me that it was already canceled. It was cancelled soon after I hung up the phone when I placed the order.

My advise to anyone who calls Verizon is to call back to confirm that the order has been placed.
