Just an alert that the Georgia / Alabama game this Saturday on CBS is in HD..

That makes 3 for GA so far this year. Hopefully, the outcome will be better than the LSU game.

Hoepfully the FLA / GA game will be in HD as well, I use to be a big UGA fan in the Vince days but hey gotta root for someone eh?

I think UF will get slaughtered this year, and in HD to boot I hope.

The people at WTSP are incompetent when it comes to passing the HD signal.

I just called and they said they are working on it.

Edit: Also from what I understand BHN just passes the local signal on the local channels...I get CBS OTA as well and it is a problem with WTSP.

Can someone tell me why CBS would put the score bug so far down from the top of the screen? Man, that looks ridiculous! :roll:

Yea I noticed that too..very curious positioning. Hoepfully they have a different position tomorrow for the Giants game..

Well I have gotten 5.1 for about 30 seconds so far. Why is that? Anyone know.

I've disconnected my center speaker and am using some cinema mode and almost have the announcers out of the sound.

why is it we can get announcers in the center channel on football, but not CSI - I still don't get it?

My best guess is that CBS football is produced in DD 5.1 and CSI is not. The only shows on CBS I have heard in true DD5.1 football and the US Open.

Does anyone know for sure or not if CBS produces their shows in DD5.1?
