Why did todays football game look like cr@p??
The games on Fox look great,the race on 691 looked good.
And now Mia and the Jets look like sh@t

Is Brighthouse having a signal problem??

They keep advertising in HD.

No HD from CBS today.
Neither game was supposed to be in HD according to CBS.
Not sure why the BHN guide would say different, but as you can see it is wrong.

Unfortunatly for buc's fan CBS only does 3 games a week in HD. This week was NEvsCAr SDvsDEN and GBvsCle. Since the bucs played at home against an AFC team CBS had rights to the game. This only happens one other time and that is when the bucs play Miami in a few weeks. CBS annonces each week which 3 games they have the rights to will be presented in HD.

BTW, you are right it looked terrible. It is hard to watch SD when you are used to watching in HD. Lucky for us fox does almost all their games in HD.

I wish CBS would get with the program as far as HD Football. Maybe we are all spoiled with FOX? Other than the BUCS if it's between an HD game on FOX or a SD game on CBS, FOX will always win. I've complained to CBS, but it falls on deaf ears. I guess advertisers don't mind loosing all the middle class and upper class viewership with HD.

It is much more complex than that.
They bought into HD years before Fox. So their equipment is older and thus less able. This is Fox's second year doing HD their equipment is able to deliver 6 games at once. CBS's equipment can't do that. At this rate it will still take Fox atleast another year to catch up with the number of HD football games that CBS has done in the past.

CBS does 3 games per week. Fox does up to 6 and the ones that are not in HD are in Fox Widescreen.

Untill CBS upgrades their equipment we won't see anymore.
I thought they would do it this year but I would be even more surprised if they didn't do it next year.

Just so you know all NFL games will be in HDTV next season. This includes all games from Fox and CBS. Sunday and Monday night football will also be in HD this year and next year. As you would guess all games in the playoffs will be in HDTV this year and into the future.
