ABC To Interrupt HDTV Feed
While it performs upgrades at its HDTV release facility, the ABC television network will be interrupting its HDTV feed to its affiliate stations beginning Tuesday, Aug. 23, and continuing through Friday, Aug. 26.

Viewers of ABC 8 WMTW will experience no interruption of programming. However, viewers watching on high-definition equipment will see an upconverted network feed and not a high-definition feed during this period.

So, where is this ABC 8 WMTW? The only one I googled up is in Maine.

That would be correct. On a business trip that is slowly turning into a vacation. It's gorgeous up here this time of year. I was just impressed that they actually took the time and money to run 10 second spot to explain that the HD signal would be out for a few days. They must take their HD seriously up here. I don't think we'd get that back in Tampa.
