I just bought a Sharp LC-26SH10U LCD and it has a built-in HD and QAM tuner. When I hooked the cable directly in and let it hunt for channels the results were strange. Channels 603, 604, 608, and 632 where there under those channel numbers. ESPNHD was on digital channel 0. Fox 13 was on 5 channels with different freq. numbers and WEDUHD was there under a freq. number. None of the other locals showed up. Is there something wrong with my tuner or is this normal for a QAM tuner with Brighthouse. If the problem is BH I'll probablly take this back and get something cheaper without a HD tuner and just get another box.

rminor,

I'm a BH subscriber in mid-Pinellas. My QAM tuner gets the HD channels in the 603-632 range on straight cable without a box.

I get 3 channels each from WEDU and WUSF. WTVT is just one channel, 613.1
As for Channel 0, I wish it was ESPN-HD.

On my set Channel 0 is video from WFLA-HD and the audio from WEDU-HD. Makes for some interesting viewing. :p

I have a Sony 50 inch LCD with a built in tuner and I tried that experiment. I was missing a couple of local HD channels, no ESPNHD or TNTHD. I was able to get WB-HD.
