I think my Pace box is insane.

It has been locking up and displaying gibberish when I'm on the CBS HD channel when accessing the guide - sometimes.

In addition, now when I set the box to 480i - it displays in widescreen only (DVI) and it won't let me use the stretch mode when watching non-HD channels. It USED to display in 4X3 even when set to 480i and 16X9 - and I would use the box to stretch the picture since my DLP won't do it on DVI.

I won't even address the cut-outs on audio and video.

I must have a bad box. Anyone else having problems?

I'm not having any problems either. Sounds like you do need to get an exchange or, like a friend of mine, they couldn't get the signal right and had to replace all his cabling and cable junction box.

Similar things happening to me. 610 audio is 100% hiss this morning but now 613 is scaled to full screen. Did they do a software upgrade overnight?

9:40 AM sunday - Riverview SA3100HD box...component video inputs

603, 604, 605, 690, 700 - perfect sound & video

610 - audio = hiss, video is fine

613 - video dropping out 90% and no sound

628 - no sound or video

 This pisses me off.

All the BHN HD are fine for me with the exception of the hiss on 610. I just finished watching the whole Tony Snow show on 613 and it looked the same as it always does (wide screen 480p).

max: my pace is fine as well, using only component - no DVI here.
working fine on sunday morning after the HISS went away.

don, turn it off for a while - have a home brew, think good thoughts and that bad Karma you've been carrying around whichs zap your TV system when the Bucs are playing might go away before today's games
