yes, working fine in brandon today as well.
glad to have CBS finally onboard...
although they may yank it after a week or so and say they don't actually have a contract?

I plan on calling tomorrow to find out if this is only a test. It seems as though it's real. Otherwise they wouldn't have assigned it the real channel number and would have gone to 8XX. Just a theory.

I am confident that CBS is here to stay. We have heard before that CBS was only a matter of time from people within BHN. I don't think anyone expected it this soon. Last I heard was that we would have it within 60 days after the contract was signed.

I guess BHN just surprised us with it early rather than waiting 60 days.

Don't worry about it...CBS isn't going anywhere. And the tier will have more channels added (not Discovery) for the same $6.00. It's merely a starting place to add HD channels that BHN can't add for free.

CBS is an excellent addition to the HD lineup. I don't like the fact that on their website and when you speak to the CSRs at BHN...they mention that channel 603 and 604 are HD stations. So if you count the real HD stations it would be as follows:

PBS 605
CBS 610
ABC 628
Discovery HD 690

These channels if you subscribe to them

HBOHD 700
SHOHD 701
INHD
INHD2

They fluff it up by mentioning FOX and those two other PBS channels. If they are charging $6/month for the two INHD channels, what are they charge us when the add ESPNHD, HDnet and the Charlie Daniels Band HD channel?

Before CBSHD came on board I rarely would stop at channel 10 for anything except NFL football on Sunday. But ever since it came on in HD, thats all I seem to watch. Shows that were completely disinteresting to me before are now interesting to me. Its frightening what HD will do to you!

I am really glad CBS is finally in HD w/ BHN. I wish I would have known this was actually going to happen sooner so I could have saved some money. I jumped the gun on D* and wasted some money. Will be nice to ESPNHD come on board some day but CBS has just as many football games in HD a week as ESPNHD. The whole ESPNHD effort has been a little disappointing so I am not going to be that upset that BHN doesn't have it yet.

Anyone know if the programming on INHD is going to cover local sports teams like the Magic and Lightening? I read on AVS that there might be some local coverage, but INHD's website doesn't mention anything about there being local sports coverage. INHD comes pretty close to being a mirror of HDNET which I really never watched much of either w/ D*.

Once again big THANK YOU to BHN for finally picking up CBS.

Supajef, sorry you went through that...I feel that I owe you, though. I was going to do it until I ready your feedback on the PQ/OTA problems. I decided to wait a bit, and now that CBS is on BHN I'm staying with them. I'm sure I'm not the only one you saved from the hassle, so a hearty thanks to you, sir.
CBS is what I really wanted due to the fact that 80% of the shows I watch is on CBS..plus NCAA/NFL. I am very excited to see CSI tonight in HD for the 1st time. Too bad survivor isn't in hidef, I guess they dont' want to bring their fancy new cameras into that environment  On second thought I don't need to see those nasty/dirty people in hidef!
