UPN 44 DT and Imax HD

I don't know if anyone else has discovered this yet, but for the past two Sundays UPN 44 has been showing Imax theater films in HD at noon. The footage is some of the best I've ever seen. Way to go UPN 44! I think it's safe to say they are the only local channel who puts out HD programming independently. They are just awesome!

I think I announced this a month ago or so...
UPN got the rights to 20 Imax titles to be shown in 2005.
Sucks though that a lot of its going into the bit bucket since they are not on cable.
