archiving video on the 8300 to dvd?

I want to put a sd program on dvd that i have recorded on my 8300hd and am trying to figure out the best way to do it.

I have a capture card with composite and svideo inputs so I can get the video to my computer but how do I record it at that point?
I have nero and easycdcreator's dvd creator programs.

anyone done this maybe?
just looking for some tips on the best way to do it before I waste a lot of time trying to figure it out on my own :lol:

i've captured VCR sources (basically the same as your need) and made DVDs.
I used Vegas Video to edit the video and DVD Architecht (both from Sony) to do this. I also used a Canopus ADVC 100 as the capture hardware.
I have no idea though how you will do it with your programs.
